Long Island Village Board of Directors

Question Title

* 1. CHANGES TO BATH HOUSE #3

Bath House #3 was recently damaged. The Board of Directors are asking your opinion on a course of action before spending money on repairs.

Considering the cost of cleaning, air conditioning, and water, it may be time to re-purpose this facility. Please select your update choice or provide your idea for Bath House #3.

Question Title

* 2. BOAT AND TRAILER PARKING

The demand for boat and trailer parking has exceeded the availability in Long Island Village and there is a need for short term parking near the boat ramp. Unfortunately, the land across the street from the boat ramp is not owned by LIV. Therefore, the Board of Directors is considering converting some of the area along the wall next to the boat launch into parking slots. They would be rented out on an hourly or daily basis to recoup the cost of construction and maintenance.

It has also been suggested that a sidewalk be constructed along Garcia Street to make it safe for pedestrians. The grass and the fountain would remain between the sidewalk and the parking slots. All of this would significantly reduce the cost of water & maintenance for the largely unused grassy area while preserving the attractive entrance to Long Island Village.

Would you, as an owner, support these changes?
