Currently, in the definitions in Section 3 an “elder” is defined as “a Band Member who is at least 55 years of age or as determined by the Splatsin Elders Council.”

“an election carried out in accordance with this Splatsin Election Code which has been customized to fit the needs of the Splatsin and incorporates Splatsin customs and traditions where applicable”
