AFIRE H2 2025 Investor Survey

For more than thirty years, the AFIRE Investor Survey has gathered the opinions of AFIRE’s members—representing almost 175 organizations from 23 countries, with approximately US$4 trillion in assets under management (AUM)—to construct a useful tool for investors, regulators, and the media to understand the goals, challenges, and impacts of international investments on US real estate opportunities.

This Fall 2025 Investor Survey continues the conversation -- including follow-up data on questions asked in the Spring 2025 survey, issued earlier this year.

All AFIRE member and guest respondents are invited to respond. All respondents will receive an early copy of the survey report, prior to its public release in September 2025.

This survey contains 16 core questions, 6 potential additional questions, and will take 9–12 minutes to complete.

The deadline is Friday, August 8, 2025.

The questions are a mix of ratings, multiple choice, ranked choice, and narrative responses.

To allow for tracking changes in sentiment over time, some questions are repeated or phrased as follow-up questions from previous surveys. To view all previous reports, visit afire.org/insights/reports.
