Help Shape a Greener, More Sustainable Community in Sheffield and have a chance to WIN a £50 voucher

Our charity is seeking funding to install solar panels on our community building on the corner of Addy Street and Shipton Street in Upperthorpe and replace existing non-LED lighting with energy-efficient LED lighting.

The project will help us to:

  • Reduce our carbon emissions and environmental impact
  • Generate renewable energy locally
  • Reduce electricity consumption and energy costs
  • Make our building more energy efficient
  • Reinvest savings into services and activities for local people
  • Demonstrate how community organisations can take practical action on climate change
This survey will only take between 5 and 10 mintues of your time.

So, if you live in the area, volunteer or work in Upperthorpe or Netherthorpe or attend any of our services take our survey and have a say in our future. Each completed survey will be entered into a prize draw with the winner receiving a £50 voucher.

Our proposed project will install solar photovoltaic (PV) panels on the charity's building on the corner of Addy Street and Shipton Street and replace existing lighting with energy-efficient LED lighting.

The project is intended to reduce the amount of electricity we need to purchase from the grid while also reducing the energy required to light the building.
