Scholarly librarians and information professionals
Research Information would like to hear from librarians and information professionals about issues they face on a day-to-day basis within the field of scholarly communications.
[Please note, if you work for a publisher or vendor of software and services for the scholarly communications sector, we have a concurrent survey running here]
Your input will help us develop Research Information magazine to better serve your needs, and may also lead to us introducing professional services to help you in your day-to-day work.
This is about your own personal challenges, rather than your views on the wider challenges in the industry.
At the end of the survey, there is an option to leave your contact details if you would be willing to participate in a follow-up phone call, during which we may ask you to elaborate on your answers to some or all of the questions, to enable us to get a better understanding of the issues you face.
Anything you say to us, either via the survey or over the phone, will be treated in the strictest confidence, and will not be published in the magazine. This is just our own research.
Any personal details provided at the end of the survey will only be used to identify your answers, and will not be used for any other purpose or passed to any third party.
If you have any questions before participating, please do not hesitate to contact us.
