Inspiring Financial Leadership award
Please see the full criteria and eligibility here.

Inspiring, celebrating and honouring financial excellence in the charitable sector is at the heart of Charity Finance Group’s mission. CFG’s reimagined Annual Dinner and Awards will recognise those who lead the way in charity finance.

This award celebrates an established leader in charity finance or operations whose impact is proven, sustained and inspiring. They lead with purpose, are driven by the mission, and use their influence to strengthen their organisation and the wider sector.

This category is for experienced leaders — typically in senior finance or operations roles such as Finance Director, CFO, Director of Operations, Head of Finance, Treasurer or Finance Trustee (or equivalent). Regardless of title, nominees will have built a significant track record of leadership, impact and influence. While our Rising Star Award recognises emerging talent, Inspiring Financial Leadership celebrates those whose leadership has been tested — and who are now inspiring others to follow.

What we’re looking for:
· Step beyond the traditional boundaries of their role
· Strengthen finance or operations as a strategic partner to senior leaders and trustees
· Lead change that improves sustainability and mission delivery
· Build high-performing, people-centred teams
· Set a clear vision and bring others with them
· Demonstrate courage, resilience and integrity
· Share expertise generously across the sector

Please continue through this form to submit an entry for this award. You can create multiple entries for the award after you have submitted.

If you have any questions at all, please contact events@cfg.org.uk.

Small charities warmly invited!
We actively encourage entries from small charities, including teams with limited budgets, small headcounts or part‑time/volunteer support. Judging will adjust to your size and resources, focusing on proportional impact, ingenuity and sustainable change.

You don’t need complex metrics. Simple evidence is valid. Low/no‑cost tools, smart integrations and practical workarounds are all welcome as evidence.
