GUIDING THE JOURNEY
|
Presented by: WV Parent Training and Information
WV Parent Training and Information (WVPTI) is proud to continue Guiding the Journey, a Transition to Adult Life Training Program designed for families and youth of all abilities as they move from high school into adult life. Now entering its third year, this initiative provides ongoing support not only to parents and caregivers of students transitioning from high school to adult life but also to those raising younger students who are preparing for the future.
Thank you for your interest in the Guiding the Journey Program. During this training, you will receive training, information, resources, national and community speakers, and individual support. In addition to receiving training on ChartingTheLife (CTL) by a CTL Ambassador, you will learn about the changing ‘parent role’ and what you can do to support your youth during post-secondary transition from high school to adult life. We invite speakers from statewide and local organizations to provide information and resources from their agencies that families and youth will need to know.
Your Commitment
We only ask for your commitment to attend the virtual sessions to enable you to receive the full benefit from this program.
