Forming a Dayton Trad/Contra Square Dance...event

We've been talking about starting something like this. With the help of you, we are hoping to set a date for December and going forward. The location will be our normal dance hall - Michael Solomon Pavilion in Kettering.
Rather than a traditional dance with a single caller, it will be open calling with an informal workshop format:
- for callers to be able to practice squares and receive feedback.
- for dancers to be able to learn and dance some complicated squares that Kathy Anderson knows.

1.The series will be on Tues nights at our normal dance hall. Is there a Tues of the month that works better for you?

Any Tues is generally free for me as much as another

2.Timing - is any start time better than others?

5-7pm

5:30-7:30

6-8pm

6:30-8:30

7-9pm

7:30-9:30

8-10pm

I like earlier dance times than the historical 8pm start

Anytime works for me.

3.Depending on the time that works the best, I'm curious if there is any interest in having a brown bag type supper together prior to the start of the dance?

4.Squares need 8 people. Until things get rolling, we will need to communicate and confirm attendance so we don't waste anyone's time. Please include your email to ensure that you get added to our squares email list.
