On the Boards Community Survey

1. Introduction

As On the Boards (OtB) approaches its 50th anniversary in 2028, the organization is embarking on a strategic planning process to refresh its mission, vision, values, theory of change, and multi-year goals.

This survey will take about 10 minutes. It asks you to reflect on OtB’s past and present, and to share your perspective on the organization’s future direction over the next 5–10 years and beyond.

The survey includes a set of primary questions, along with optional identity and demographic questions to help us understand trends across participants. All responses are anonymous. If you choose to share your identity and/or demographic details, no personal information will be shared with OtB staff or board members without your direct and explicit permission.
