Snowden Community Home Owners Insurance Survey

The Snowden Community Council is gathering information regarding residents who are experiencing large increases in their Homeowner's Insurance coverage costs or loss of coverage due to the fire danger risk/rating. This information will be used to inform discussions with the County regarding the upcoming Comprehensive Plan updates, as well as provide data for the Snowden Community Wildfire Prevention Plan that is in the early stages of development. Additionally, the data will likely be shared with the Washington State Insurance Commissioner, as part of an ongoing effort to bring awareness to this issue.
