Selecting a location for the SPSP Annual Convention is a multi-step process. We are contracted through 2026, as we had to re-book Austin, TX due to COVID-19. The Board of Directors recently approved a new site selection policy, which outlines all the various factors we consider when selecting a meeting destination. The size of our conference limits our options, as we are large enough that many cities cannot accommodate us, but we are too small for some of the large venues. Based on survey feedback collected from the membership this summer, we understand that the cost to the attendee is one of the main factors we must consider when booking a destination. There are many other factors we also consider as outlined in the policy.

At this time, we are seeking member feedback on a variety of future destinations before we begin the site selection process. This brief survey should take less than 5 minutes of your time.
