Woodley Town Council - Council Tax Consultation

Dear Resident

Woodley Town Council carefully budgets how much Town Council Tax you pay (which is different to the Borough Council Tax) to fund a wide range of local services and amenities. The Council has managed a 0% increase over the last three years and an overall reduction of 7% (not inflation corrected) over the last 13 years.

As with any other organisation the Council is facing increasing costs and needs to balance this with continuing to provide high quality services that are valued by residents. For 2025/26, the average Band D household will pay £106.69 per year (£8.89 per month) to fund the Town Council Tax.
