On behalf of the CHB Disability Reference Group

The Central Hawke’s Bay District Council's Disability Advisory Group are currently investigating beach accessibility in the CHB area. The Group are wanting to establish whether there is the need within the CHB community to purchase a beach wheelchair to increase access to our beautiful CHB beaches. The group would really appreciate any feedback from people within the community with access needs, by completing this quick survey.

* 2. If your answer was "no" or "sometimes", please let us know why you, or people you know,  have issues with beach access e.g ‘My wheelchair cannot be pushed on sand or my mobility has decreased so I can’t walk along the beach like I use to".
