The international VPL Biennale in Berlin showed that validation professionals have a lot of interest in sharing their expertise with peers, working together and learning on a transnational basis. The participants of the VPL Biennale consequently asked for more opportunities to exchange their experiences with other validation professionals. 95% of those present thought it was a good idea to set up an international network for validation professionals.

This questionnaire has been developed by the Lifelong Learning Platform, Erik Kaemingk (Peer Review VNFIL project), Martin Noack (Bertelsmann Stiftung / VPL Biennale) and Globedu to further investigate the role of such a network that would start on the European level and would later be extended to becoming a global Community of Practice.

You are identified as a professional or other stakeholder in validating of prior learning, respectively of non-formal and informal learning, thus making you a potential member of the international validation network. By answering the questions you can let us know what needs such a network should meet to be successful.
