The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Aviation Division has launched a study to measure the economic value of Washington’s airports to their communities and to the state. This study’s purpose is to collect information to help measure economic impacts of individual airports and the State’s airport system. An important part of this study involves surveying airport management. The information provided in this survey will be used to prepare this analysis as well as quantify how airports impact Washington’s economy.
Accurate data is needed in order to properly determine the economic impact of Washington’s aviation industry. While we recognize that Calendar Year (CY) 2018 is not yet complete, we request that you estimate information for CY 2018 in your survey responses. You can base the information on CY 2017, updating to reflect changes that have occurred, and those you anticipate between now and the end of the CY. We ask that you please review this survey and provide a completed version to us no later than OCTOBER 26, 2018. We also will be following up on this survey in the next few weeks to answer any questions that you may have.
