Aviation Economic Impact Study General Aviation Pilot, Passenger, and Aircraft Owner/Leaseholder Survey
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Aviation Division is updating the Washington Aviation Economic Impact Study (AEIS). This update will quantify the economic impacts that aviation provides throughout the state and summarize the unique and diverse ways airports contribute to our state’s residents, visitors, and businesses.
To make this project a success, accurate data is needed to assess the economic impacts of Washington’s aviation industry. Please responds to this survey if you:
Own, lease, or pilot an aircraft based at this airport and do NOT employ staff on airport property
Are an aircraft pilot or passenger visiting this airport
This study is being conducted by WSDOT with the assistance of our consulting team led by Kimley-Horn. Other team members include WSP, the Economic Development Group, and PRR. All data will be presented in combination with other responses and no individual details will be included in the final report. Data will only be used for the purposes of this study and will be destroyed upon project completion.
