Westcroft Green Space Improvements: Public Consultation

Saxilby with Ingleby Parish Council is exploring making improvements to Westcroft Green Space, with ideas that may include trail equipment, natural-style play equipment, a sensory area, and quiet seating space.

This area historically had a park, and the parish council is very aware of the importance of wellbeing, play, and managed risk for children.

Our aim is to create a welcoming, accessible green space that blends with the natural surrounding – encouraging outdoor activity, nature-based play, and wellbeing for all ages, whilst also including areas for rest and relaxation. Think balance logs, climbing boulders, wildflower planting, and sensory features that invite exploration and creative movement, rather than a traditional playground.

Your feedback will help guide what to include and prioritise.
