2027 Washington State Book Award Submission Form Survey

Awards will be given in seven categories for the 2027 book awards (for books published in 2026).

Entries will only be considered if all information is provided, the author meets our criteria and is a current resident of Washington, and copies of books are received at the Washington State Book Award office by the deadline. Please review the submission guidelines.

Books must be received by Jan. 15, 2027

After you’ve submitted the online form, send:
Six (6) copies of each final printed title in the ADULT categories, OR
Four (4) copies of each final printed title in the YOUTH categories, to:

September 15, 2026: For books published June 1-Aug.15, 2026.

Nov. 15, 2026: For books published Aug. 16-Oct. 15, 2026.

January 15, 2027: For books published Oct. 16-Dec. 31, 2026.
