2026 Washington State Book Award Submission Form

Awards will be given in seven categories for the 2026 book awards (for books published in 2025).

Entries will only be considered if all information is provided, the author meets our criteria and is a current resident of Washington, and copies of books are received at the Washington State Book Award office by the deadline. Please review the submission guidelines as the criteria have changed.

June 30, 2025: For books published Jan. 1-May 31, 2025.

September 15, 2025: For books published June 1-Aug.15, 2025.

Nov. 15, 2025: For books published Aug. 16-Oct. 15, 2025.

January 16, 2026: For books published Oct. 16-Dec. 31, 2025.

FINAL DEADLINE: January 16, 2026
