Wayfinding Signage Survey

The Town of Mahone Bay is responsible for a variety of signage in and around our community, intended to promote Mahone Bay to visitors and to welcome residents home.

On February 27th, 2020 the Town Council received a letter from the Mahone Bay Tourism & Chamber of Commerce proposing the Town and MBTCC work together to develop a Wayfinding Signage Strategy ensure our community’s signage remains current and effective while reflecting the best Mahone Bay has to offer, from our churches and scenic views to our great many shops and welcoming local culture.

Wayfinding signage includes all Town-owned signage from Highway 103 and throughout the town intended for motorists and pedestrians. The strategy could also include flags, banners, temporary events signage, etc..
