Nominate to become part of the 2022 QSEC Board of Directors.
This form is to indicate your interest in nomination to the QSEC Board of Directors. QSEC is currently transferring its incorporation as an Incorporated Association (QSEC Inc.) to a Company limited by Guarantee (QSEC Ltd), and therefore this form is held to be consistent under the relevant governance standards for both organisation types. Nominations through this process will be accepted for candidacy by whichever model is applicable at QSEC's upcoming AGM.

The Queensland Social Enterprise Council is seeking nomination for up to FIVE (5) elected positions for the Board of Directors. Only current QSEC's industry members (social enterprises) are eligible to apply. The successful candidates will form part of the QSEC Board which will contain five (5) member voted Directors and a further two (2) appointed Directors (to be nominated by the elected Directors). Appointed Directors may be from either the Member or Associate Member group. Regional representatives and people identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent are encouraged to apply.
All members of the Board of Directors provide their time voluntarily and commit to meeting monthly. They also contribute to the development of the strategic plan and prepare / read all relevant Board papers prior to each meeting.
It is an exciting and challenging time in Queensland's Social Enterprise Sector. In addition to these responsibilities, there's also an expectation to contribute to the organisation either through extra time, resources, access to professional networks and funding.
