We'd like your feedback on the design of our 15th Ave NE paving and safety project.

As part of our paving program, we'll pave approximately 1.3 miles of 15th Ave NE to make it safer and more comfortable to travel on, and to extend the useful life of the pavement. In the last 5 years, 15th Ave NE has had an above-average amount of injuries from collisions; therefore safety features prominently in our plans. 

Beyond the paving work, we are proposing to: install flashing beacons to the crossings at Roosevelt High School; introduce new exclusive left-turn pockets and signals; repair sidewalk and upgrade ramps; add protected bike lanes; remove parking on 1 side of the street, and remove peak-hour parking restrictions to make parking available 24/7 on one side of the street.
