Religious Education is an endeavor that is essential to the continuity and strength of our community. It is an education process that allows the children within our Jamat to develop their understanding for what it means to be a Shia Ismaili Muslim and how then as a faith community we engage together and with the world.
The Institute of Ismaili Studies Secondary Curriculum is an essential tool that we use in our classrooms to develop student understanding of our faith and how our faith can enrich our lives. One of our aims is to provide our students with positive educational experiences such that they desire to return week after week.
At the end of the BUI year we take the time to review and reflect on the year. However, we need to hear from the students and you, our parents, in order to continually improve our Bait-ul Ilm program. Our collective outcome is to ensure each child experiences learning that is enjoyable, engaging, and enables them to live their faith within the everyday moments of their lives.
