WPPNA Southwest Corridor Transportation Survey |
West Portland Park Transportation Survey Background
The Southwest Corridor Plan is long term regional transportation planning effort exploring different routes for either bus rapid transit or light rail alternatives that connect downtown Portland, Southwest Portland, Tigard and Tualatin along the Barbur/I-5 corridor.
From now through spring 2016, the project steering committee will discuss technical findings and community input to develop a Preferred Package of transportation investments. The Preferred Package will form the basis for the corridor’s alignment, character, and mode of transit. The West Portland Park neighborhood is part of this corridor. Current decision making before the steering committee includes exploring whether and how to include PCC Sylvania as a major element of the corridor.
The West Portland Park Neighborhood Association would like your input so that we can inform the steering committee which of the proposed options hold the greatest appeal to members of our neighborhood. Please take a moment to fill out this survey to help us provide meaningful input in this process. For more detailed project information, please visit www.swcorridorplan.org.
