By the Watertown Downtown Business Association (DBA)

A Business Improvement District (or BID) is a public/private partnership in which property and business owners elect to make a collective contribution to the maintenance, development, and promotion of Downtown Watertown.
Downtown Watertown is the heart of the city. We see it as a destination for visitors, a hub of activity for the region and the cultural center of Northern New York. Downtown is where you want to work, where you want to hang out after work and where you want to go home to. And, while that is all well and good, the fact remains that we cannot do this without the input and support of the businesses within the district. So, we need to ask you, the stakeholders; What do YOU want? The BID is, after all, yours. The businesses and property owners within the district have a voice in the operation of the BID.
Please help us to create a plan that serves everyone by filling out this simple survey. Part one is to tell us how the City is doing so far and part two lets us know what is most important to you. At the end of the survey, we ask: “What would be the top opportunities that you feel would make the strongest contribution to improving business in Downtown Watertown that you would like to see if you had unlimited funds or a magic wand?”
