The 2030 Agenda and UN Reform both necessitate greater UN engagement with the private sector as a key stakeholder in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As the UN Secretary-General remarked on the occasion of IOE’s Centenary Summit, “The Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda cannot succeed without the full engagement of the private sector.” The International Organisation of Employers (IOE) and the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) have joined forces to bring together United Nations Resident Coordinators (UNRCs) and IOE member organisations and their company affiliates with a view to enhancing cooperation for the delivery of the 2030 Agenda, as well as measures to address the socio-economic impact of COVID-19. Several virtual dialogues have taken place between UNRCs and IOE membership and based on this information, a playbook will be issued that addresses the challenges and opportunities for UNRCs and national employer federations in coming together to #BuildBackBetter. The survey below is being undertaken to gather information from UNRCs, national employer federations and IOE partner companies to further inform the writing of the playbook. It is very much appreciated if you could complete this survey. It takes 3 minutes to complete. Your voice is important to us and we thank you in advance for your support.
