Weather Events, Impacts, and Vulnerabilities

The City of Grande Prairie is developing a plan to increase resilience and support preparedness as changing weather patterns impact the people, services, infrastructure, and systems of our community.

To ensure the plan is informed by the needs and experiences of the people of Grande Prairie, the City is asking our community members to complete a survey in two parts.

Part 1: Questions related to the impacts, vulnerabilities, and concerns experienced by residents and community members about adverse weather events over the last 10 years and moving forward to inform the development of the plan and the prioritisation of actions.

Part 2: (to be released Spring 2027) Questions will be released for public commentary regarding the actions and impacts presented in the initial draft of the plan.
1.How long have you lived in Grande Prairie?(Required.)
2.Identify the top 3 weather-related events you consider as biggest threat to yourself, members of your close circle / household, or your property over the next 10 years.(Required.)
