Outdoors for All offers in-house clinics and an exam for volunteers pursuing their Level 1 Alpine PSIA certification. The training will be open to a limited number of volunteers. Selection will be based on a short application process and selected by Outdoors for All staff.

The checklist below is to help you navigate and track towards the exam process through clinics and teaching with Outdoors for All. Please ensure that you have adequate time to complete these steps taking into consideration your timeline and exam date.

ATTEND ALL IN-SEASON TRAININGS (*If you cannot attend all training clinics please inquire about a divisional exam)

TRAINING DATES: January 8th, January 15th, January 22th, January 29th, and February 5th, February 12th, February 19th from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM.

EXAM DATE: March 16th and March 23rd (choose one)

COMPLETE THE E-LEARNING COURSE – Free:
Must be done 2 weeks prior to the on-snow exam.
Link will be emailed out to individuals taking the exam

PASS THE ONLINE PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE EXAM - $10.00
o Level 1 MUST be completed 2 Weeks Prior to Exam Registration
