Census of Black Catholics in the Archdiocese of Denver

Office of Black Catholic Ministry

One of my priorities as the new Director of the Office of Black Catholic Ministry is to identify individuals and their families in the Archdiocese of Denver who define themselves as catholic by religion and black by race and/or ethnicity.  By completing this brief survey, you will be able to make yourself known, whether or not you are active with a parish community.  Although we know that there are many of us across the archdiocese, we do not have an accurate count or even an approximate guess at this time.

I appreciate you sharing this survey with other Black Catholics, as we know from our oral traditions that word of mouth is the best way to connect. This information will be used to create a database to tailor future events to the diverse interests and needs of our population.  Please contact me at kateri.williams@archden.org or at 303.715.3165 if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your assistance and may God bless you always.
