Did you know that 21% of LGBT adults living alone are doing so on incomes less than $12,000/year? Homosexual couples over 65 have poverty rates that are double the rates of heterosexual couples. Discrimination triggers poorer health outcomes and
further pushes LGBT older adults into poverty. This webinar will explore poverty within the LGBT community, the unique legal needs of the LGBT senior community and best practices for providers working with LGBT older adults.
