The Douglas County Cooperative Weed Management Area is purchasing biocontrol weevils to distribute to control dalmatian toadflax in the county. If you are a landowner in Douglas County with dalmatian toadflax to be controlled and you are willing to complete a short VSP Producer Checklist/Survey, you could have 100 dalmatian toadflax biocontrols released on your land this spring at no cost.
If you are interested, fill out this form. If we have enough bugs and confirm that we will be able to release them on your land we will send you more details. Then, as long as you have filled out the VSP Checklist/Survey we will get those bugs released sometime in late May or early June.
