Give Your Dog the Spotlight They Deserve!
We are debuting a calendar highlighting our furry visitors and will fill it with pictures of YOUR DOGS!

Does your furry friend love visiting the Arboretum? Submit your favorite photo of them exploring our garden! We will select 12 of the best photos to be featured in the 2027 Dogs of Boyce Thompson Arboretum Calendar.

If your photo is selected, you will receive a FREE calendar.

Rules for Entries

Content:
Your submitted photo must feature your dog at Boyce Thompson Arboretum, with a background clearly identifiable as the Arboretum. Per our pet policy, all dogs must be on a leash no longer than six feet.

Eligibility
There is no age limit for entrants! Anyone is welcome to participate. If you are under 18, and your photo is selected, we will need permission from your parent or guardian.

Format
The preferred orientation for photos is landscape.

Entry Limit
Entrants may submit up to five (5) photos, but only one (1) photo per person will be selected.

Entry Winners
Winners will receive one (1) free calendar. The names of the winners and the dogs pictured will be featured alongside the winning photos.

Deadline:
Entries are due by Oct 16. Submissions received after this date will not be considered.

Grounds for Disqualification
Entries will be automatically disqualified under the following conditions
  • The dog is not wearing a leash, or the leash is longer than 6 feet.
  • The photo is unclear, blurry, or of pixelated quality.
  • The photo contains significant alterations or generative AI elements.
  • The photo lacks clear, identifiable elements of Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
  • The photo does not contain a dog.
Boyce Thompson Arboretum has the right to disqualify any entry for any reason.

Rights and Permissions
All photographers retain the copyright of their submitted photographs. By submitting a photo, all entrants grant Boyce Thompson Arboretum permission to use their photo in the 2027 Dogs of Boyce Thompson Arboretum Calendar and in promotions of Boyce Thompson Arboretum including, but not limited to, the Arboretum's website, e-news, social media, and digital and print advertisements with photographer credit. Calendars will be sold, and all proceeds will support Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
