About the Society of Insurance Research

The Society of Insurance Research (SIR) was founded in 1970 and has proudly served the insurance industry for 50 years! SIR is dedicated to promoting research-driven decision making and supporting insurance research/insights/intelligence professionals. SIR includes representation from all insurance lines including: carriers, InsurTechs, research suppliers, government agencies, higher education institutions, and trade associations. SIR is a non-profit, member-driven organization offering its members research/knowledge sharing programs, professional networking events, professional development and the ability to share thought leadership.
