Forum Questions

This June, Explorers’ Edge, the organization responsible for fostering a welcoming destination for visitors while ensuring tourism delivers meaningful benefits to our communities, together with project partners, will host a one-day Indigenous Youth Tourism Summit. We want it to be a day worth showing up for. Expect real conversations, hands-on experiences, and opportunities to connect with people doing meaningful work in tourism, entrepreneurship, culture, and community leadership. Most importantly, we are building this summit for you, and we need your input to help shape it.

Your feedback will help us design a summit that is interesting, interactive, meaningful, relevant, and fun. We want to know what topics, activities, and experiences would make the day exciting and worth your time.

This survey is short and should only take a few minutes to complete. Your responses will help inform the agenda and overall design of the Indigenous Youth Tourism Summit taking place on June 9.

Privacy note: Your responses will be reviewed only for the purpose of planning this summit and will be shared only in broad, summarized terms to help guide the event agenda. Individual responses will not be publicly identified. Participation in this survey is voluntary, and you may choose to skip any question you do not wish to answer. Survey information will be kept confidential, accessed only by the project team for planning purposes, and deleted within 4 weeks of collection.

Thank you for taking part. We are looking forward to hearing what you think and to creating a summit that reflects the voices, interests, and ideas of Indigenous youth.
