Voluntary Action Lochaber’s ‘VOSCARS’ 2019 will take place on Thursday 6th June at the Ben Nevis Hotel in Fort William. Lochaber’s VOSCARS event celebrates the huge contribution Volunteering makes to Lochaber.

Please take the opportunity to nominate a person or organisation that you think makes a different in your Community. Nominations must be received by 12.00 noon on Friday 24th May.

The top 3 Nominees in each category will be invited to the “Voscars”, an afternoon red carpet event to be held in the Ben Nevis Hotel on Thursday the 6th June 2019.

The winner in each category will be announced on the day

Rules of the event

1.      Nominations must be received by 12 noon on Friday 24th May 2019.

2.      Individuals cannot be nominated by a partner or family member, or nominate themselves.

3.      Groups cannot be nominated by an Employee or Trustee of the organisation.

4.    You may only nominate one person or group for each category.

5.      Nominees must live in Lochaber, or undertake their volunteering work in Lochaber.

6.      Groups nominated must have a branch or be based in Lochaber.

7.      Ideally permission should be sought from the person or group nominated before a nomination is submitted.

8.      The Judges' decision on entries is final. The Judges reserve the right not to make an award in any particular category if they feel that nominations are not suitable.
