Membership of the LMC Support Network

We are concerned that anyone on the Network should feel supported and safe to post appropriately. We cannot allow situations where people feel intimidated or overwhelmed, this is against the spirit of why LMCSN was formed.

There is regularly debate in and outside of the main WhatsApp group about who should be able to access the WhatsApp group and website from LMCs. Until now we have allowed anybody working in an LMC to join which has included the wider elected members. Please help to steer us.
2.Are you happy with the current model where you must be working within an LMC to be a member of the WhatsApp/Website (no distinction between officers/staff/elected members/attached or co-opted personnel?)
3.Would you prefer that it is only LMC office holders e.g. chair, CEO, medical director etc/execs and staff able to be members?
4.For devolved nations, would you prefer to have a separate WhatsApp group hosted by the LMC Support Network for your nation in addition to the wider UK group?
5.There has been much debate about the appropriateness of the group being used to hold GPC to account. Is it appropriate to use the group for this or should be only for peer support for LMCs?

Centralised data

We are doing our best to build up data resources collated and made available to LMCs. We are working on compiling a library of locally commissioned services and on our forum we have several LMCs submitting details of levy payments they charge their practices. It is entirely voluntary but very helpful for us to help LMCs in benchmarking/comparing with others when revising their fees. We will share details on our website but please indicate if happy to submit figures but not named. We are aware that each LMC is different so merely comparing levy rates only tells part of the story.
