CEU Evaluation WLHYT 2021

You will receive five CEU credits for attending today's conference. Participants can receive social worker, LPC, LMFT, Ph.D. and LCDC CEU credits for the conference. CEU certificates will be emailed to you on Wednesday, October 6 by 5 p.m.

Learning Outcome: 
The desired outcome of this conference is that participants will be able to demonstrate effective approaches in teaching, counseling, working, mentoring and helping empower teens during these unprecedented times and across various settings whether in school, their community or family dynamic.

* 8. TeenEd Talk – Tony Walker PH.D., LPC-S – More than just a Rainbow: How to be Strong Allies for LBGTQ+ Youth
Since the LGBTQ+ community experiences more homelessness, bullying suicidal ideation, substance use and harassment, they often struggle to find safe spaces to build networks of positive adult support. We will discuss the latest research surrounding this vulnerable population and easy-to-implement strategies that empower adults to act as critical allies to the LGBTQ+ youth.
