Description: Information collected on this form helps the Melbourne Graduate School of Education Placement Team match Teacher Candidates with appropriate placement settings.

This form should be completed as soon as possible to ensure you are matched with a setting before the scheduled placement start date. This form is a compulsory part of your enrollment and a placement search will not commence until this form is submitted.

If there are any changes to your circumstances or the information provided after you have submitted your Placement Information Form, please email the Placement Officer Marianne Dorey at placements-earlychildhood@unimelb.edu.au with the updated information immediately.

* 2. The Placement Office will use the address recorded on your Student Portal (https://my.unimelb.edu.au) as your Contact Address as the basis for your placement allocation. It is therefore vital that you have ensured this information is correct during the enrollment process. If you need to update your address please follow this link for further information, and provide an updated suburb in the box below.

What if I'm moving or coming from overseas?  We recognise that some Teacher Candidates may be relocating in preparation for their program. If you can't give an actual residential address, please provide the suburb(s) you expect to live in during your placement to placements-earlychildhood@unimelb.edu.au. Once your address is confirmed you should update your contact details via your Student Portal and email the Placement Office as soon as possible.

* 3. MGSE draws on partnerships with a diverse range of schools to place students. Students may be required to travel up to 90 minutes each way, with public transport as a default for all placements. Students with private transport are often able to be placed with a shorter travel time – do you have access to private transport for you placement (car/motorbike/scooter)?
