INFORMATION ON THE PROJECT

“VITA – Virtual and Augmented Reality Trainers Toolbox to Enable Adults Catch Up With Life Skills” is a two-year (2017 - 2019) European project which aims to develop a novel toolbox by which adult trainers can attract, reach out and assist adult learners in catching up with digital literacy.

In order to define the toolbox contents and clearly understand the training needs in question, the project consortium is seeking to investigate the current level of digital literacy across the participating countries.

Therefore, we kindly invite you to participate in our analysis by answering the following questionnaire.

This activity will take around 10 minutes.

KEY CONCEPTS

Online Safety – Involves taking precautions to protect oneself against online individuals with malicious intent. More specifically, these include viruses and other harmful programs, cyberbullies, and individuals trying to steal personal information (e.g. credit card details). Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated 3D environment that engages users in the surroundings and responds to their actions. Usually, users utilize a head mounted display, which is simply worn like ski goggles. The video is then sent from a console or mobile device to the headgear. Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that will turn the real life environment into a digital interface by creating virtual objects in the real world, in real-time. (https://www.statista.com/topics/3286/augmented-reality-ar/)
