1) Random attacks and violence on our streets and on the TTC should be a top priority for the next Mayor.

2) Affordable housing is a concern to me. I think the City needs to continue to secure more affordable housing.

3) I do not support reduced funding for the police.

4) City Council makes decisions supporting minority interests without regard to the wider populace. Decisions to close off High Park to cars, to re-name Dundas Street, and installing bicycle lanes where not wanted, are examples.

5) I support Council’s recent decision to permit, as of right, the building of four-plex apartments in suburban neighbourhoods in place of single family homes.

6) I welcome the work of the province to rehabilitate Ontario Place and I am happy with the plan for the private sector funding of a spa and waterpark.

7) It is important that the new mayor has prior experience as a City Councillor.
8) In this campaign, not enough attention is being paid to the poor state of city’s finances, which will limit new spending initiatives in the future.
9) Traffic congestion is getting worse and this should be an area of focus.
10) Our roads are often crumbling and the City waits too long for re-surfacing or re-building roads.
