1.What do you remember about your first “crew” as a kid in elementary, middle, or high school? (If you had one.) What do you remember about how friendships formed at this time? If you didn't have one, feel free to reflect on that too.
2.What do you notice about friend groups and friendships in the stage of life you're in right now? (teens, 20s, 30s, "midlife," 60+, or however you want to describe your stage)
3.In your opinion and experiences, are "friend groups" mostly positive or negative? Inevitable? Unnecessary?
4.If you had a friend group in middle school or high school, did you ever try to switch? How did that go? What about as an adult?
5.Have you ever been dropped from a friend group or been part of a group that dropped somebody else? (At any age.) Feel free to say anything you want about this topic. It's a hard one!
