Employer and Application Status Questions

All employers participating in the Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo Workforce Immigration Support Program (WISP) must fully complete this WISP Eligibility Survey for every Candidate, regardless of what stage the Candidate is at. This survey is due on February 28, 2026.

This WISP Eligibility Survey must be completed separately for every employee candidate who currently is (or was) associated with your organization, including:
  • Candidates who previously received endorsement letters (including those that are expired or nearing expiry)
  • Candidates who have obtained permanent residence (PR)
  • Candidates with applications that are in progress, paused, or on hold
  • Candidates who are no longer employed by your organization
Failure to complete the survey by the deadline will result in cancellation of that Candidate’s endorsement letter and may lead to the Employer’s removal from the WISP Program.
