Thank you for your interest in applying for the Lubbock NAACP WIN Wellness and Self-Care Scholarship.
Purpose: Support a young woman pursuing a career in mental health, public health, or wellness, honoring the intersection of race, gender, and health equity.
Award Amount: $500–$1,000
Selection Criteria:
  • Enrolled in or accepted to a program in public health, psychology, nursing, or related field as an upperclassman or graduate student
  • Demonstrated understanding of how race and gender impact wellness
  • 2.75 GPA or higher
  • Essay: “Why Health Equity for Women Matters to Me”
All applications must be submitted by July 1, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.

The winners will be recognized during the Lubbock NAACP Annual Scholarship Dinner on August 1, 2026. All winners must be present at the Annual Dinner to receive their awards.
