Will County Freight Forum Survey |
Welcome to the Will County TDL Survey!
The purpose of this survey is to help maximize Will County’s freight potential and optimize the benefits related to moving freight between the County and all parts of the nation and the world. This is one component of a broad outreach strategy that includes additional surveys and focus groups that will specifically address other topics such as workforce. Please complete this survey by February 24th.
Your input will be crucial in allowing Will County and its partners to succeed in developing a freight plan to address these issues:
· Optimize supply chain operations/network and reduce costs
· Maximize shipping options
· Determine future workforce needs
· Identify critical infrastructure needs from a supply chain perspective
· Improve and protect community and private sector investments, safety, and quality of life
In addition, participation will help Will County and its partners with their efforts to obtain federal and state grants and other funding to address challenges you help to identify and improve businesses’ bottom line by optimizing public sector supply chain solutions.
The process will also help to develop a comparative analysis of transportation factors for key industries using modal cost, travel time, and shipment reliability information.

This survey will take approximately 15 minutes. Please not that while the project team recommends completing the survey in one sitting, it is possible to exit and resume taking the survey as long as the same device and web browser is used.

No statements or other information will be linked directly to individual respondents in any publication without the express permission of the respondent (i.e. the respondent would be contacted after the survey for permission to attribute any data or quotations). Demographic, organizational, and other individual information collected from survey respondents will be released only to members of the project team and staff acting on their behalf during project-related activities only, including for record-keeping and follow-up purposes. Demographic, organizational, or data related to respondents will be reported only in aggregate formats with other survey responses.
