NFI Working Group Pre-registration form for Bangkok 15th-16th of May

NFI Working Group Pre-Registration form for Bangkok

Various country-level shelter clusters have initiated different methods of dealing with NFIs and meeting household needs. The GSC is arranging an NFI Workshop in Bangkok planned for the 15th-16th of May 2018. These dates coincide with two other relevant shelter events: the Shelter Projects Working Group on the 17th and the Asia Shelter Forum on the 18th.

The main objectives of this workshop will be to give the topic of NFIs and related practices the attention it deserves with a particular focus on Asia-Pacific practices, given that according to GSC statistics, around two thirds of the shelter related budget worldwide goes to NFIs or “Essential Household Items” and reaches about five times more beneficiaries than are tracked for shelter response (dashboard on  https://www.sheltercluster.org/).

In order to make the workshop relevant for the participants/ responders in the field we would like to gather your feedback on the following
  • What Topics are of highest interest for you?
  • What topic could you contribute to with your experience?
Please note that places are limited! In order to guarantee a place for you or your agency and to collect interest for the agenda, please fill in the pre-registration survey. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes

After consolidating your feedback we aim to confirm registration for the workshop by mid March, for the identified date and with a first draft agenda.
