The City of Rockingham aims to support residents and visitors to feel safe and secure at home, outdoors and within the community. The City would like to obtain your feedback about building a safe, connected and resilient community. By completing this survey you are providing valuable information that will shape the development of the Community Safety and Support Services Strategy 2021-2026.
The City develops projects that enhance community safety and resilience through: · Creating safe and vibrant places and spaces that serve the needs of the community and creates opportunities to assist the support services sector · Building a cohesive, accessible and sustainable support sector and works collaboratively with key stakeholders · Supporting strong connections and engagement between people at both the neighbourhood and community level to encourage community participation, connection and resilience · Increasing community capacity by raising awareness and building knowledge about key issues through activities, events, training and workshops
