Last year, thanks to the strength of ASU members, the Fair Work Commission delivered a 3.75% pay rise for minimum wage workers. This was a huge win in the face of relentless campaigning from big business to limit pay increased to 2%.
But our job isn’t over. Without another real pay rise, wages will fall behind.
