Now that both chambers have passed their budget proposals, we have a better idea of where the House and Senate stand on issues that can have an impact on our daily lives.

After seeing the differences between the ways these budgets make investments and generate revenue, how do you feel about each one?

How hard should the House fight for the values and policies in our proposal, which include early learning, K-12, higher education, and critical human services for children and vulnerable adults?
Take as long as necessary to fight for these values and policies even if that means shutting down state government.
Up until the last day of June to avoid a government shutdown at all costs.
Until the next revenue forecast comes out in mid-June, which will likely provide more funding.
Compromise whatever values and policies stated above as necessary to reach an agreement by the end of this legislative session, April 23rd.
