Thank you for your interest in teaching in Open Circle Jewish Learning (OCJL) for Fall, 2021.

All Fall class proposals are to be submitted no later than Monday, June 14, 2021. You will receive a confirmation email upon submitting your proposal. Please contact Cindy Bernstein at cbernstein@hebrewcollege.edu, if you have difficulty with this form. We are available to discuss your ideas for courses before the due date. Feel free to contact Open Circle Director, Linna Ettinger at lettinger@hebrewcollege.edu or, for 20's and 30's and Social Action courses, Ahava Rosenthal at arosenthal@hebrewcollege.edu.

In general, Open Circle Jewish Learning Classic courses consist of no more than eight, 90-minute class sessions. We recommend limiting 20's and 30's and Social Action classes to no more than six, 90-minute class sessions to keep classes more affordable. Faculty and class liaisons will also be expected to recruit participants. Hebrew College requires a minimum of 10 participants in order to run a traditional OCJL class, and a minimum of 9 participants for 20's and 30's or Social Action OCJL classes.

The Open Circle Jewish Learning team will review proposals after June 14, and will notify applicants by July 16, regarding the status of the course proposal.
