The Tri-State Learning Collaborative on Aging (TSLCA) is committed to advancing conversations that help create vibrant, healthy and thriving lifetime communities. We host semiannual regional events and are building a collaborative, community response to meeting the needs of older adults across Northern New England. We regularly engage over 1,500 people from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont through these events, our list-serve, monthly webinars and informative website.  Just last year we hosted a Tri-State Summit on Aging at the Grappone Center that drew over 350 participants.

This 2017 Summit will focus on unleashing the power of older workers and volunteers to build a stronger Northern New England. Whether as business owners, workers, entrepreneurs, community leaders, mentors or volunteers, older adults across Northern New England will play a pivotal role in keeping our region’s economic engine running. Older adults are part of what’s been dubbed the “Longevity Economy” and this Summit will explore the many ways they contribute to a vibrant workforce, thriving communities and strong economy.

Expected Participants: 250+ employers, HR Directors, economic development and workforce leaders, policy and planning leaders, small-business owners, community-based organizations, aging-in-place community leaders and older adults!

The one-day Summit will run from 9:00 - 3:00 and will have a low cost registration of $40 per participant ($35 for TSLCA members). This fee, which only helps cover the cost of food, allows older adults on fixed incomes to attend. It is critically important to keep fees low as many people will have travel costs. We will also provide scholarships as needed.
